This summer, our little store received the most compliments ever in it’s fourteen years of history. We’re not sure if it was the way we rearranged the displays, the new products we offered, or the beautiful women we had working the counter for us.

Colleen Carroccio was part of our team. She is a student at the University of Georgia in Athens and Clare’s very good friend’s daughter. We loved having her bright and energetic personality representing our fun shop.

We were fortunate enough to be introduced to the Iacchetta sisters, Maria and Amanda. From a local family, these two very responsible and attentive girls have been able to stay and work at the gallery throughout the summer and fall and into the winter months. Amanda is a graduate of Pratt Institute in New York City. Her artistic skills are in drawing and painting with a focus on charcoal portraits. Maria is a student at Salisbury University and is studying early childhood education.

Mary Beth Stokes has been with us for the past four summers. She is a proud mother of five grown children and is quite the hostess during the summer in our store and at home. Mary Beth will be sure you hear some Beau Jocque zydeco music or Etta James blues and is very convincing when it comes to buying the CDs we offer. She could also be in an Ivory soap commercial.

We are ready for the next two big holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The shelves are being filled with products, our e-mail list is growing, our web sites are being attended to, and projects are being checked off the list.

Thanks for stopping by our web site and shopping in our store.
Love from us,
